OK, so here we have it. A few before, during and 'after' shots of our kitchen. I say 'after' loosely - as it's far from finished - but this shows 'after' we had demolished a a couple of walls, so we can see how much room there will be and try and plan the space.
Before (N.B. These were taken BEFORE we moved in - hence the lack of general clutter as well as the dirt!)

I'd just like to point out here that Mr Big's exact words were 'I'm just going to remove a couple of bricks' - he was intending to see the quality of the walls underneath the tiles. I went for a shower and when I came back, a dust cloud came up to greet me. Basically, the '2 bricks' he removed led to part of the wall collapsing, so then the whole lot had to be taken down.
Thankfully Grandparents to the rescue as my pleas for emergency childcare were taken care of and then Mr Big & Wondermum set to work.

And here it is - the finished article as it is now. Much bigger - albeit already full of stuff! Where does it come from?

| Note - slow cooker etc still on the side as I had no idea they were about to be covered in DUST! Que 6 HOURS of washing up to clean up everything that had not been removed first! I do love Mr Big. Fortunately! |
